Never Forget The Power Of Creativity

Hello to our friends and family,
We hope that you are staying well, looking for the light, being gentle, and embracing life moment by moment. During this uncertain time, we are called to get creative to make it through each day and navigate this new normal. We are also reminded of where we started, of why we started, and finding strength in remembering what we are capable of.
At Lulu Designs, we share our love of rediscovering and redefining ourselves through the jewelry we create with our customers around the world. However, this moment has found us going back to the basics in order to reconnect with self.
Stacy King, the founder of Lulu Designs, started the business in her home in 1997 with a desire to create beauty in the world. A decade as a production potter gave Stacy insight into the art of balancing form with color. Now, she leads her team of talented artisans and bench jewelers that make up the production. Stacy has kept the studio and gallery alive by returning to the jewelry bench at which she started, ensuring that production does not have to pause or stop.
Creative Director Kristina Saxen has been working alongside Stacy King for over a decade, designing collections and ensuring Lulu Designs is in state of constant bloom—and as a Marin native, she shares Stacy’s love of spirituality, nature, and beauty. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design’s Jewelry and Metalsmithing program, Kristina thrives on alchemy, helping to envisage finished pieces inspired by quality metals and soul-inspiring gemstones. While she waits to join Stacy in the studio to continue making jewelry, Kristina has dusted off her sewing machine to create masks for essential workers in need of protective gear. It’s her way of continuing to create something that will reach out to people.
We look forward to the day we re-open our doors to our team and to you, our valued customers. We hope you are able to stay inspired in your own way to be able to see the beauty that each day may hold.
With love,
Stacy & Kristina
