Spring Showers Bring Resilient, Beautiful Blooms

The first full month of spring feels a bit different this year. Along with April’s characteristic showers, we are all being called to slow down, stay inside more, and sink into the space between where we were and where we’re going. This shift feels both unnerving and entirely natural, as it's one that nature has prepared us for, providing sublime symbols to look to as beacons—like the lotus.

Lulu’s love of the lotus flower comes from each bloom’s origin story. The ethereal flower germinates and takes root in muddy waters, winding upward and opening each morning to seek the sun, pristine petals splayed over a moody surface. With Easter’s accompanying symbolism of rebirth and Ostara’s celebration of fertility, the message of the moment is clear: new life and light is both possible and inevitable.

Should you need a reminder of nature’s—and so our—unending resilience, the lotus remains a feature in many of our favorite necklaces. Each pendant is designed to reach toward the heart-center with a message of grace and strength.

This collective trauma, too, will end. And if we stick together (even apart) and make like the lotus, humanity has the potential to emerge in an unexpectedly beautiful way.
