Stella Studs

A small star, borrowed from an old kind of guidance.
Long before satellites, before maps folded into glove compartments, people found their way home by fixed points of light. Sailors read the sky like a page. Farmers timed their planting by it. Entire journeys were built around trusting that one bright point would still be there the next night, and the night after that. Venus was often mistaken for the brightest star in that sky, when really it's a planet, close enough and luminous enough to outshine the true stars scattered around it. It rises before dawn and lingers after dusk, present when almost nothing else is, a light that shows up early and stays late, as if it understands what it means to be depended on.
Stella takes its form from that same idea. An eight-pointed star, small enough to sit at the edge of an ear, holds a cluster of gemstones the way a night sky holds its own scattered light, tight, deliberate, catching whatever brightness is nearby and giving it back. It isn't really about naming one particular star. It's about the comfort of something small, bright, and constant. A point to steer by, even in the dark, even when you're not entirely sure yet where you're headed.
